So, I am running a 64 bits Windows on both my laptop and my media server. When I download iTunes and start the installer it begins bothering me with warnings that I need to download the 64 bits version of iTunes.

I looked everywhere on the Apple site, but it was nowhere to be found…… until…

I got the bright idea of opening the iTunes site in the 64 bit Internet Explorer which is standard installed on any 64 bits Windows version. After opening the iTunes site in this browser I got to download a whole different version of iTunes, which enables me to sync my iPhone with my 64 bits Windows.

So in short, make sure you visit the iTunes site in your 64 bits bits Internet Explorer, to get the right version of iTunes.

Also: It is really stupid that Apple made a site which uses Internet Explorer specific options :S, geez, make sure when users visit your site in (for example) FireFox, that you also offer them a 64 bits download.
